The Seefeld-Wildmoos golf club is, without doubt, the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of all alpine golf courses. In existence for over fifty years and built from original plans by the well known golf course designer, Donald Harradine, the natural landscape is at the heart of its layout with outstanding views to take your breath away. Harradine, a specialist for challenged courses, was famous to get the best out even in very difficult landscapes. He focussed on "Strategic- and Penal-Designs" - that's why he planned sand bunkers economical on the fairways and supported the idea to use the natural trees according to his motto: "Better a good 69-Golf Course than a bad 72 Par Course." Characteristical are the economical used fairway bunkers and the natural obstacles as trees, ground waves and hills, which should be included in the game. This individual signature is also reflected in the Jewel of the Alps.
The beautiful backdrop of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains are an inspiration to the golfing fraternity. The fairways incorporate established trees of Larch, Birch and Pine. Despite the altitude of 1300 meters, the fairways and greens are of the highest standard, where E-trolleys and Club Cars are available on request.
The clubhouse restaurant with its traditional Tirolean décor, provides a convivial atmosphere where guests and members can meet, chat or relax and enjoy the exquisite cuisine.
