50 years ago, the golf course was planned with a lot of feeling by the architect, Donald Harradine. Harradine was a specialist for planning golf courses in difficult terrains and could build golf courses, even when the terrain was really difficult. He felt completely free in desigining styles of the "Strategic- and Penal-Designs" and planned really less bunkers on the fairways and advocates good placed trees on the course following his credo: "Better an excellent Par 69 Golf Course than a bad Par 72 Golf Course." Characteric for Harradine were the used sparingly bunkers on the fairways, also as the natural hints like trees, ground waves, sinks and slopes. You will recognize the unique signature of Donald Harradine also in the Jewel of the Alps. The breathtaking view on the mountains and mountain ranges of the Karwendel- and Wettersteingebirge. The old trees of birch trees, larches and beeches are along all fairways.
Despite the height of 1.300 metres all the fairways and greens are in a top quality. You can rent new e-trolleys and Club cars with GPS. Tyrolean cosiness shapes the beautiful clubhouse with the alpine lifstyle. All the guests and members will meet for a talk, accompanied by culinary delights.
